So 2017 has been quite an amazing year filled with so many ups and downs. I personally pride myself in taking notes of what happened in the previous year so I know to avoid it, keep at it or improve it. That aside, my husband and I went back home to Durban.

We all know by now that Florida Road in the heart of Durban. Besides Eyadini, a lot of people come to Florida Road to party here and have a good time, so obviously we went past.

Coming from a landlocked country, our mini vacay would not have been complete without a trip to the beach.

Located in Rosebank, this beautiful has a vintage and rustic vibe going on. Playing Jazz and smooth RnB that later on has singalong/karaoke singer to get you on your feet. Katzy's is beautiful for a Sunday afternoon sundowner. My greatest problem though was the fact that people smoke inside the restaurant and as a non-smoker it was disturbing for me but otherwise it is a cool place. We were also served by a cool waiter by the name of Romeo. When you pass by I recommend you ask for him.

We went past The Hyaat before heading to Katzy's as they weren't open yet. It is such a beautiful hotel, I was thoroughly impressed. Though we were by the lobby and restaurant, it looked and smelled very beautiful, the unfortunate part though was that we went past on a cold day and the air conditioners were not making it easy to be comfortable, it was almost snowing.

Here is to conclude one chapter and starting another! May 2018 bring you all you wish and desire when you put in the effort to get it!
