Following on the activities to do, we headed to the Zoo.

This is fun for the entire family on an easy Sunday or Saturday afternoon.

Entry into the Johannesburg Zoo is R90 per person (adults) to get full access to the Zoo. There is a separate fee of course for the rides. So below are the images from our fun day at the Zoo

Then there was Jumbo the elephant.

The smell that came out from the crocodile pit was a lot, it was so overwhelming.

That was my outfit for the day, short and floral for the looming summer.

So the whole experience is fun for kids mostly. The walking was a LOT especially in the heat, we could've alternatively used the carts but it was better to see the animals at a closer range and you can stop over where you want to stop over. There were a lot of animals to see as well which I commend them for. An alternative view I got whilst at the Zoo was that the animals are kept from their natural habitat for human entertainment, which could be deemed as animal cruelty. But if you are keen on checking the zoo out, enjoy it!
