Ahh yes.
In the philosophical lyrics of Mgarimbe the theme song was Sis Bertina "siyeeeee debeeeeen" hahahaha which translated means "We are going to Durban".
So went to Durban last weekend for a breather. Below are the pics!
My 26th year on this here earth has to be one of my best years. So I decided to usher in my 27th one with not so much of a bang because I could not have anyway to surpass my previous. The first plan I made was to go to Goo Moremi gorge but it was fully booked. So I stuck to the simplest way of celebrating my birthday, booked myself a spa date and spent the day with the girls.
Me and my friend Keletso decided to go on a little excursion out of town. I swear she gave me a call on Thursday asking me if I was keen on going somewhere on the weekend and i was "guuuurl I am already there with you".
We left and unfortunately due to the heavy rains that we had recently had at the time we had to off route Police College as we were heading to Lobatse. Geez the road was so bad, the potholes and the livestock on the road. Never mind those then it started raining heavily. To a point where i had to stop because i could not see the road. So what me and my friend did, we stopped used the rain to wash up our cups and had ourselves some liquor hahahaha! I only had one drink as I am a driving and I have to be the responsible one.
We got to the turn off ya lodge and there was so much water that we could not even pass. We called the lodge people who said they would come and get us but they came an hour and a half after we had called and knowing me I had had IT!
They picked us up in their game range cars which gave us a view of all the greenery and some of the animals there. Boy by then the drinking had commenced as i was not the driver anymore.
We got there and this is what we came to.....
If you look closely there is a little island that they created for their boat cruises
Well i have been on an hiatus, phewww! A lot of things have happened since the last blog. Threw me off balance so much i forgot to blog. Not to worry all good things happened, story for another day though.
Yesss! Your girl went to Australia. First continent i went to outside of Africa. I kept quite about the whole trip so if it flops no one comes at me on some "o ne a ithaya are" tip hahaha!
There was SO MUCH! I had writers block for some time because i was trying to compose the blog but there were so many pictures and so many things i needed to write.
This was the first day, had to show the Australians African heat
So a couple of days back I went past Lobatse. The aim was to spot a location for an impromptu shoot. As is all the time, we stumbled upon two spots. But before the pictures, let me give you a brief run through of the old town that is Lobatse courtesy of Sesigo.org.bw
"Lobatse is a town named after Chief Molebatsi. Before independence, Lobatse was the country’s principal town and retains many of the older style colonial buildings nestling in a range of hills with tree-lined avenues and a slightly wetter, cooler climate. For the most part, these are in a sad state of collapse"
On a beautiful Sunday afternoon, We took brains and beauty and decided to have an impromptu shoot to create an Angelina Bella Catalogue. Below is what transpired.....
Tutu Skirts
I absolutely love this look. Its young and playful. Also it pushed bounds as the Tutus are a tad see through! With my look, the peacock boob tube with the matching head head wrap. Perfect for bridesmaid.
Second attire.
For Bettys look the halter top is beautiful for those endowed in the bust area. The color matched the tutu and had embellishments to add a bit of sparkle.
A couple of days ago I headed out of town to check out Mogobane Dam. This was mainly prompted by pictures I kept seeing on social media of the place and its beauty. I can't even lie, the place is absolutely beautiful so much that I went back and took proper shots by the dam. The serenity of the place is suitable for a picnic with family, friends or couples.
